Jeez, everyone. I know I'm due to hit forty soon enough, but as pranks go, making everyone half my age is pretty excessive. [It's in a semi-serious tone, but she's actually being sarcastic here] This is going to make the birthday party I hope some of you are planning pretty awkward, isn't it?

[Short laugh. It's funny, okay]

I'll be heading by the Brigade HQ for anyone who's around. The village is smaller too, gosh. See you there!

[So Haruhi Suzumiya is significantly older now! She's in her later 30s and as noted here will remain as such until her birthday on the 31st. You're free to answer the voice today or you can run into her in Action in any of the following situations (or anything else you come up with) on any day between now and the 30th!:

A) Shopping for clothes and accessories. Sure she's probably the result of some Shift, but she's going to be comfortable for this time, okay. Gosh.
B) Hanging out in and around House 10 or the HQ. She'll be with Sekai, and very enamored to see the rooster once more. ♥ She also might be witnessed meditating in these places, cooking meals at home, or otherwise doing her best to enjoy herself
C) At Good Spirits or Cloud Nine. She'll be at different ones on different nights for different reasons. Either way, some light drinking, darts, watching people perform, all that good stuff.
D) Swimming or tanning on the beach. Sure she's older, but she might as well distract/enjoy herself during this time, right. You also might see her performing some higher end spell work like putting an air bubble around her head to dive under the water here.
E) Going to the Hot Springs to have a nice dip. Hot Springs are things people always ought to enjoy. :|
F) People watching around town. This might be done in the form walking around, jogging around, or just sitting on a bench or something. But she'll be around trying to get a feel for who's around and chatting up familiar people.
G) Practicing her magic. A lot of it is filial, but some of it is also garner from other worlds. She's mostly comparing what she "knows" she should be able to do, versus what she can actually do if she's some temporary person here. This will mostly be out at the forest's edge, but also in the barracks, up at the mountains, on the beach...

No matter when you see her if you ask about the future she's from she'll probably tell you tall tales about the future. If you have anything you'd specifically want or not want your character to hear, ring me for permissions here. Let's have fun with this, folks. Replies will be from

[In all his time, Sokka had never heard of god-children. The concept was alien to him. But Haruhi being a god was not. Leading to one conclusion:]

Wait, so... she's like you, then?

Wha--- no. No. It's a Western concept, which apparently Amestris has. It basically means that you assign a friend in particular to watch out for a kid above all their other non-nuclear family. She's Winry's girl.

Winry's kid? [A pause.] Miho doesn't sound very Amestrian to me.

Sara Miho. [...Oh right Sokka wouldn't know] When we broke up, I tried to demand I got to name her first kid. Of course that didn't happen, but she ended up using my girl suggestion for the the middle name on the second.

Wow. And her uh, husband, was okay with that?

Between you and me, I think that was her vengeance for the first kid's proper name being Lawrencium.

[He opens his mouth. Shuts it. And then shakes his head.]

Well. No mystery who that is, then.

Right? [She laughs at this, out loud. It's still, still funny to her] Fortunately, he's able to go by Lawrence, but still. His father's a dip.

So how long did it take? Ten years? Fifteen?

Oh no, I totally called it. Less than one from when we broke up to be dating, less than two for them to be married, and just do I don't sully her name, less than three for the first kid.

Wow. Not bad. Guess things worked out.

[He'll just credit himself for that.]

[Well. There's a good reason why he's not asking about his future. This one or the one back home.]

Yeah. Guess so. [A pause. He doesn't really want to risk her starting to talk about him more anyway.] Well. Like I said, you look great! And uh. Enjoy seeing the past?

Oh, this and that. It's interesting to see Buffy looking the way she does. [Now that they're here in the bar, that seems like a thing to say] Everyone else looks young, of course, but it's interesting from her, because she's not young like the rest of us right now.

[Okay well he has to stick around a little longer. You know. Stick up for his sisbro.]

Hey, she's plenty young! Just, different sort of young. You know, an extra few years.

I know, I know. Five years on me, a little more on you or Winry. It's not that much, but when you're... your age, I guess, it feels like a lot. Or it did to me, anyway?

It did at first, but it doesn't really seem that way anymore.

[But he's from a world where you grow up pretty fast compared to people on Earth. So that may play into it.]

Fair enough. You always did seem my age even though you'd younger than me. [But then it's weird to think back on that]

Well uh, technically, up until I guess... now, you were younger than me. I mean, you had all your memories, but I'm not sure that actually counts.

You wouldn't? I tended to. [But then, after she reverts, she'll have been corrected anyway. Probably because of this conversation]

Well, no offense, they were two or three years that none of us remembered, right? Because of the whole... you being a guy thing. [He can say this because he figures enough time has passed for her not to take issue with it.] I figured it wouldn't count anymore than having sixteen years of girl Sokka or eighteen years of Avatar Sokka stuffed in my head. I figured if I counted those, I'd be over forty right now. And that would just be awkward.

So when I get back I'll be able to count secret amount of years for me and I'll definitely be older than you then. [Laugh] And it's more like seventeen, even discounting the timeline issues, but I understand what you're saying.

Great. Something for you to hold against me when you're back to being... you. The uh, younger you.

Oh, I doubt it'll be like that. Don't worry.

Well. Good! So uh.

[He stands up a little awkwardly.]
